Junior Support Engineering Technician (Polish Equipment Backend)

About our group:

Substrate Polish Equipment Support Group (ESG) focus on monitoring and sustaining our KPI which are Yield, Equipment Repair & maintenance Cost, Overall Equipment efficiency (OEE) and equipment sustaining to ensure our performance meet company target and customer specification. We also put important focus on Preventive Maintenance program. We control our KPIV and monitor KPOV to produce good quality products, to upkeep equipment condition and provide a great working environment for everyone.

About the role - you will:

• Support Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering and Manufacturing team for sustaining related tasks
• Attend and solve equipment issues related to equipment uptime, product quality. process OCAPs and equipment OCAPs
• Check and monitor the equipment KPIV and KPOV, act if encounter any abnormality
• Perform equipment evaluation and improvement project assignment by engineer such as equipment, yield and product quality improvement
• Ensure productivity achieved target by reducing machine down time and effectively troubleshoot issue at production line
• Ensure OEE targets are met by contributing to equipment improvement when required
• Adhere to EHS safety SOP and programs
• Maintain 5 S housekeeping programs

About you:

• Have excellent observational skills to identify any abnormality in equipment condition or failure
• Willing to receive and implement continuous proposed improvement activities
• Proficiency in the equipment used by employers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work on shift hours
• Preferably Diploma holder in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, control/automation). Certificate holders in the relevant Engineering fields with relevant working experience can be considered

Your experience includes:

• 2 to 5 years of working background and hands-on role in Preventive Maintenance Program (PM), Equipment Repair & Maintenance (Production Tool) or equivalent
• Advance Knowledge on Pneumatic, Sensors and Electrical parts would be an added advantage
• Equipment sustaining and engineering in manufacturing/production
• Machine troubleshooting, parameter setting and machine qualification
• Basic Statistical tools and data analysis (7QC Tools)
• Effective application of Microsoft Office (Excel/Words/Power Point)
