About the role - you will:

 

  • Work with different functions, especially facilities and manufacturing in understanding the processes that have EHS risk
  • Understand and complete compliance verification based on applicable requirements. For instance, compliance verification with hazardous substances uses, waste generated, and by-product of the process based on critical processes.
  • Identify risk opportunities in the process
  • Enhance inspection process and PPE compliance according to required standards
  • Understand and be involved in ISO45001: 2018 and ISO14001: 2015 documentation review and on-site observation

About you:

 

  • Interested in learning about different EHS regulation and compliance processes for a manufacturing company in the technology sector
  • Passionate about keeping people and the environment safe in every part of a large company
  • Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Environmental Engineering, Safety, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields

 

You Are Good at:

 

  • Both technical skills and soft skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Clear communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) in both English and Malay language
  • Interact with people from different culture and background

Your experience includes:

 

  • Working and communicating in an office layout environment
  • Working comfortably with people from around the world, flexibility with meeting time zone and deadlines
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Located in Johor Bahru’s technology park, our office is one of the largest electronics component manufacturers in Johor. On site, we encourage employees to lead active and healthy lives. The facility provides a cafeteria offering healthier menu options. Employees have fun and build strong relationships by participating in many sports, recreation and cultural activities like badminton, soccer and chess tournaments. We’re also proud to give back to the greater Johor community through many STEM volunteer activities.
