About our group:

 

Our group operate and maintain the Ultra Pure Water (RODI) Treatment System and manage scheduled waste to ensure a continuous supply of utilities and facilities, meeting the required performance levels and specifications to support substrate manufacturing operations.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Operate and maintain RODI Water Treatment System and Scheduled Waste Management system to ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications
  • Conduct RODI Water Treatment System performance monitoring in accordance with the Seagate ST1055 requirement and Scheduled Waste Management
  • Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure the systems are always intended
  • Ensure plant histories, drawings, data, and other appropriate documentations are being generated and properly filed for future reference
  • Evaluate and recommend for appropriate spares, consumables, and other resources necessary for day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures as well as ensure optimum operation of the systems
  • Review and estimate cost of facilities, repairing, consumable and other related costs
  • Monitor and review system performance and capacity usage and provide regular reports
  • Conduct periodic checks and routine inspection according to the system recommendation and checklist
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the person shall be required to work outside normal hours
  • Ensure all equipment is operating and maintain cost effectively, safely, and efficiently
  • Supervise the work of engineering specialist, including subcontractors engaging in specialized in maintenance work
  • Perform related duties as directed 

About you:

 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, strong problem-solving abilities, result-oriented, and a proactive team player
  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and in a safely manner. Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language
  • Possess Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 3 years of experience
  • Acquired Certificate in Environmental Professional by Environment institute Of Malaysia, EiMAS (preferred)
  • A competent person for listed in National Registry of Certified Environmental Professionals, NRCEP. CeSWaM is an added advantage

Your experience includes:

 

  • Between 3 to 5 years working background in facilities maintenance
  • Familiar with hands-on task in Ultra Pure Water (RODI) Treatment System (preferred)
  • Mechanical and Electrical System such as SCADA system, Scrubber system, Swarf system, ACMV System, Fire Protection System, Electrical System, Compressed Air System, Vacuum System etc (an added advantage)
  • At least 3 years of hands-on role background in maintenance of various facilities systems and extensive knowledge of plant equipment/systems
  • Worked in manufacturing environment with emphasis in project management and maintenance of facilities management
