About the role - you will:

  • Work with different functions, especially facilities and manufacturing in understanding the processes that have EHS risk  
  • Understand and complete compliance verification based on applicable requirements. For instance, compliance verification with hazardous substances uses, waste generated, and by-product of the process based on critical processes. 
  • Identify risk opportunities in the process 
  • Enhance inspection process and PPE compliance according to required standards 
  • Understand and be involved in ISO45001: 2018 and ISO14001: 2015 documentation review and on-site observation

What Would You Ultimately Be Able to Be Proficient In?

  • Gain a solid understanding of industry practices, standards, and expectations, especially in the context of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) operations.
  • Learn how to collect, analyze, and present data using different tools and platforms, turning raw data into actionable insights.
  • Accomplish university internship by relevant experience
  • Hands-on learning experience through EHS inspections, monitoring and data collection, which are essential for understanding workplace safety and environmental compliance.
  • Work closely with EHS professionals and other departments, developing teamwork and communication skills that are vital for success in a multidisciplinary environment.

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, or closely fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) 
  • Clear communication skills 
  • Able to interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds

Located in Johor's Bahru's technology park, our office is one of the largest electronics component manufacturers in Johor. On site, we encourage employees to lead active and healthy lives. The facility offers an in-house gym as well as a cafeteria offering healthier menu options.
