The KRM Team is a high-performing global team of dedicated professionals who work closely with our internal business stakeholders and target groups for KRM deployment and third-party business partners focused on deploying relationship management at Seagate. As a Salesforce Data Steward you will contribute to the success of our organization by ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of our Salesforce data. Your expertise in data management and commitment to data quality will help drive informed decision-making and optimize our business processes.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Data Quality Management: Regularly monitor and review data within Salesforce to identify and address data quality issues, such as duplicates, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Implement data cleansing and enrichment strategies to enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Establish data entry guidelines and protocols to ensure consistent data capture across the organization.
  • Data Validation and Verification: Perform routine data validation checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Verify data integrity by conducting regular audits, reconciliations, and cross-referencing with external sources.
  • Data Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, structures, and mappings. Document data governance processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistent data management practices.
  •  Data Privacy and Security: Collaborate with the privacy and security teams to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and policies. Apply appropriate data access controls and permissions within Salesforce to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Salesforce Report creation and analysis: Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce to monitor Data. Use Tableau reports to monitor deployment. Any knowledge of creating Tableau reports is a plus.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, marketing, and customer service, to gather data requirements and resolve data-related issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address data-related concerns and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.

About you:

 

  • Have a critical understanding of CRM account and contact hierarchies as well as be an advocate of corporate data governance and scalability
  • Promote and lead data-driven decision making and solutions
  • Maintain, create and improve metric definitions and develop Key Performance Indicators for data timeliness, completeness, and accuracy among others
  • Be able to utilize systems thinking and automation skills to develop and maintain reporting and analytics.
  • Be able to tell a story using data and analytics
     

Your experience includes:

 

Musts:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree of Science in Business Information Systems, Supply Chain, Management, Finance, Technical degree, Data Science/Analytics or business degree
  • 2-5 years professional work experience
  • Systems thinking and experience in both systems and process improvement
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large quantities of data
  • Understanding and experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data management, analysis, and communications processes

 

Preferred:

 

 

  • Experience working with Salesforce and SFDC dashboards/reports
  • Ability to learn and utilize new tools quickly
  • Good Basic MS Office skills, experience in using Tableau and Sharepoint is a plus
