About our group:

The Equipment Development Engineering (EDE) team delivers advanced automation equipment and manufacturing technologies supporting high‑volume production and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Our scope includes system and process design, equipment development, qualification, and factory integration for automated machinery, tooling, and component test systems. We work cross‑functionally to deliver robust, scalable, and manufacturable solutions from early concept through production deployment.

About the role - you will:

  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules for automation equipment development, incorporating system architecture, CTQs, and execution from concept through production.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of equipment development projects with hands‑on ownership of automation system development, integration, and factory readiness.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally among technical teams across design, process, software, test, and manufacturing to align scope and execution priorities.
  • Act as the technical focal point within engineering teams to coordinate system development activities and resolve technical issues.
  • Resolve technical issues, leveraging data‑driven analysis and GenAI‑assisted software development to accelerate problem solving and validation.

About you:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation equipment development or system integration, with strong knowledge of motion control, vision, pneumatics, sensors, and machine software.
  • Hands‑on experience using GenAI‑assisted software development for prototyping, simulation, validation, or ML/AI integration.
  • Self‑driven, analytical, and collaborative, with the ability to lead technical execution, manage risks, and communicate effectively in a cross‑functional environment.

Your experience includes:

  • Experience with automation, equipment qualification, and factory implementation.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and influence decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Applying GenAI‑assisted software development in equipment area.
  • Applying Six Sigma or DFSS principles in equipment or process development.
