About our group:

Mechanical Development Verification Test (mDVT) will support mechanical design change validation, FA (Failure analysis) and qualify at the M1&M2 level (Maturity Level 1, 2) for equipment development and component test. We work closely with the Mechanical Design team at Normandale, USA and Asia for support test experiments and deliver summary results.

About the role - you will:

  • Qualify mechanical design change at the M1 & M2 level (Maturity Level 1, 2)
  • Support experiment test for mechanical related
  • Execute and improve the equipment to meet a test requirement
  • Maintain test equipment in the good shape and condition
  • Manage and control turnaround time to meet the target
  • Deliver experiment result with a high quality
  • Support Metrology test AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), FE-SEM (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope) and Candela

About you:

  • Technical knowledge for Software, Mechanical, Electrical and Circuit
  • Positive attitude, self-confident and openness
  • Fluent in English communication both spoken and written

Your experience includes:

  • Familiarity with metrology background for AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), FE-SEM (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope) and Candela
  • Hard Disk Drive manufacturing, FA (Failure analysis), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing background
  • SQL (Structured Query Language), Statistical Software Jump (JMP) and Python
  • More than 2 years working experience in hard drive manufacturing industry (process/test/product integration engineer) is preferred
