About our group:

The Characterization & Analytics (CAG) Group supports Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) evaluation and quality verification at the Maturity Level 0 (M0/M1) stage, supporting new technology and new process development. The team works closely with Design, Manufacturing, USA, and the Korat Laboratory. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering experiments, data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.

About the role - you will:

● Design electrical and pneumatic circuits and perform basic engineering calculations for industrial equipment.
● Select electrical components in accordance with Seagate’s SOP39 Safety Standard and project requirements.
● Create electrical and pneumatic diagrams for equipment development.
● Develop 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using engineering design software such as SolidWorks.
● Support Seagate’s engineering document control process.
● Apply SOP39 safety requirements throughout equipment development projects. #internship

About you:

● Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
● Basic knowledge of electrical circuit design and engineering principles.
● Familiarity with PLC programming.
● Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD design software.
● Basic understanding of electrical safety in a manufacturing environment.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
● Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
● Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
● Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Eagerness to learn and apply engineering knowledge in a practical environment.

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge in International Finance Environment
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Macro, Formulas, V-look up)
• Experience working with Oracle and SAP S4/HANA
• Bachelors and/or equivalent experience
