Manufacturing department - A department primarily responsible for managing and executing the production of goods or products in accordance with defined goals and plans. It serves as the core of the production process, ensuring that products meet standards, maintain quality, and align with customer demands. Developing the skills of our production operators is essential to maintaining standards and operational efficiency.

Given our continuous, high-volume production, effective data management is crucial. This includes systematically organizing data and transitioning manual input processes into a structured system using excellent tools that comply with Seagate’s policies.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and capable Production Supervisor (Trainer) to lead and manage training programs for production operators. This role focuses on designing effective training curricula tailored to real-world operations, reviewing and approving training documents created by engineers, and ensuring that the content is practical, easy to understand, and applicable on the production floor.
 
You will also play a key role in transforming the training approach by leveraging digital technologies to develop modern learning materials and elevate the Trainer team to the next level in the digital era.

About the role - you will:

  • Plan and manage training programs for production operators across various lines
  • Collaborate with engineers to review training documents such as Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other training materials
  • Evaluate the clarity and practicality of training documents and approve or reject them based on suitability
  • Develop new training formats using digital tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS ), AR/VR, or AI-based training platforms
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization
  • Lead the transformation of the Trainer team by enhancing digital capabilities and fostering a forward-thinking mindset

About you:

Technical Skills

  • Understanding manufacturing processes and operational needs
  • Ability to analyze and improve training content for clarity and effectiveness
  • Skills in planning and managing structured training programs
  • Proficiency in using technology to develop training materials, such as PowerPoint, Canva, Articulate, Microsoft Stream, or LMS platforms

 

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication with team members and cross-functional departments
  • Leadership in promoting learning and skill development
  • Attention to detail in reviewing training documents and processes
  • Adaptability and problem-solving in dynamic environments
  • Vision to drive organizational growth through proactive learning strategies

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Management, Human Resource Development, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Data Science, or Information Systems, or any related field that supports training development and data analysis
  • Foundational skills in computer applications for data summarization and analysis, such as Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query), Power BI, Tableau, or other, to support training program development and performance tracking
  • Experience in developing training materials and digital learning content, including e-learning modules, instructional videos, and interactive training tools
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineers and Trainers, to ensure training documentation is practical, clear, and aligned with real-world operations
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches in training and development
