About our group:
IT End User Services - The use of computer knowledge and formal systems to find practical solutions to daily problems. Consists of working with direct complex operations geared toward gaining efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. We work closely with all Seagate users, Seagate's HDD Design Center, and HDD manufacturing factory in Thailand.
About the role - you will:
Support and troubleshoot Hardware / Software and System problems:
o Windows 10 and later
o Mobile devices running Apple iOS or Android
o Network-client services: e.g., Microsoft Active-Directory, network printing
o Messaging & collaboration: Microsoft O365
o Internet/intranet networking, VPN and/or remote-access services, network wiring
o Telephone & teleconferencing services
o Office-productivity software: including MS-Office, Acrobat, web browsers
o ServiceNow incident/problem/change management systems
o Other Seagate’s implemented systems
o Business PCs: desktop, notebook, workstation (currently Dell, HP, Lenovo)
o PC’s peripherals & accessories: e.g., printer, external storage device/media
o Other Seagate’s implemented systems: e.g., TNA (time & attendance), kiosk station.#internship
About you:
• End user services including hardware and software support
• Knowledge in computer science or computer engineering
• Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
Your experience includes:
• Good problem solving skills
• Good Engineering verification and evaluation skills
• Understand of color theory and human visual perception
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them
• High degree of independent judgement
• Fluent in English
