Computer Engineering Intern (SQE Team)
Samut Prakan, TH
About our group:
Our Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team, within Material Science & Contamination Engineering (MSCE), partners with Seagate suppliers to ensure the parts and materials entering our Teparuk/Korat operation meet stringent contamination and cleanliness requirements. We drive supplier quality through contamination monitoring, root-cause investigation, qualification of incoming materials, and continuous improvement programs that protect product cleanliness across the HGA manufacturing line. To do this effectively at scale, we rely on the Contam SQE system — our platform for tracking supplier contamination data, results, and corrective actions.
About the role - you will:
• Support the continuous development and enhancement of the Contam SQE system so it is reliable, effective, and user-friendly for engineers and supplier partners.
• Help design and improve the user interface and workflows so the system is intuitive and easy to use for day-to-day supplier contamination quality work.
• Build and refine features for capturing, organizing, and visualizing supplier contamination and cleanliness data so results are clear and actionable.
• Integrate data from contamination/cleanliness tests and supplier records into the system, and help automate manual steps to make the workflow faster and smarter.
• Initiate new tools, ideas, or techniques that make supplier quality data easier to manage and analyze.#internship
