Automation Engineering Intern

About our group:

Characterization & Analytics Group (CAG) will support HGA (Head Gimbal Assembly) evaluation for qualify at the M0&M1 level (Maturity Level 0 & Level 1) for new technology and new process development. We work closely with the design team at Normandale, USA, Springtown, UK and Asia development team for execution experiments and deliver summary results.

About the role - you will:

●    Develop and enhance software solutions to integrate hardware and testing systems. 
●    Design and implement software tools or platforms to support equipment testing. 
●    3D CAD modeling and 2D CAD drafting through computer aid design programs, such as Solidworks. 
●    Seagate’s document support.
●    Studying and putting Seagate's SOP39 safety standard into practice for a development project.#internship

About you:

●    Studying bachelor’s degree in Automation Eng or related fields
●    Proficiency in programming languages such as C# 
●    Machine Vision System knowledge
●    Experience in hardware-software integration and test system development  
●    Knowledge of electrical engineering circuits and pneumatic diagram 
●    Foundation aid design program, such as Solidworks. 
●    PLC programing knowledge.
●    Ability to work well in teams.
●    Strong verbal and written communication in English.
●    Good analytical skills.
