About the role - you will:

You will be a leader thriving in a startup-like environment capturing new business across Lyve Cloud in the Los Angeles, California Region, while backed by a strong data storage brand. You thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization where you can make a meaningful impact with great autonomy, and high exposure to the company senior leadership. You will have the space to be highly organized with the ability to formulate a sales strategy for a new cloud offering within an assigned territory, focused on scale revenue growth and new customer acquisition.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline for large accounts and close opportunities in an end-to-end sales cycle (bringing subject matter expertise to cloud sales is a spike) 
  • Understand prospect’s challenges in current client storage and articulate how Lyve Cloud’s value proposition can address pain points 
  • Develop leads generated by sales support teams and coach to improve quality 
  • Achieve and or exceed Quarterly and Annual targets 
  • Build account plans and engage proactively with leadership to accelerate accounts across pipeline 
  • Develop and deliver proposals/POCs that clearly address the customer’s technical and TCO/ROI requirements 
  • Engage across Seagate sales teams and functional areas as an internal partner  
  • Attend and participate in QBR’s and various product and sales trainings 
  • The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the cloud segment and experience in selling SaaS/Consumption based solutions is a plus

About you:

  • Extensive experience selling B2B SaaS solutions, cloud highly preferred 
  • Strong client hands to identify and address customers storage needs, workloads and use cases 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment with a high sense of urgency 
  • Skilled in demand generation with the ability and passion for closing new business 
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (i.e., MEDDIC, Command of the Message, SPIN, Challenger) 
  • Ability to establish credibility and forge solid/positive professional relationships with peers and upper management. Collaboration and cultural fit critical 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of management. 
  • Proficient with SFDC, LinkedIn, Navigator, Microsoft Office and other sales tools.  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with field sales experience with a track record of success

Location:

Remote - California; #LI-Remote  
Travel: Up to 25% regionally in the Los Angeles area
