The Revenue Operations / Account Management team supports the effective execution of supply and demand activities for high-volume strategic accounts. The team works closely with Sales, Production Planning, Logistics, and Finance to align customer expectations with internal supply plans, maintain reliable operational data, and support consistent planning and reporting. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the operational foundation of strategic account management in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
About the role - you will:
• Support senior Account Managers in the day-to-day execution of supply and demand activities for strategic accounts. • Assist with backlog tracking and purchase order reconciliation to align customer requirements with internal planning. • Gather and organize data for escalations, support root-cause analysis, and help identify short-term solutions. • Analyze historical trends and market signals to support demand-planning activities. • Assist in customer and internal co-planning sessions to align on supply strategies. • Develop and maintain reports that track key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, fill rates, and lead times. • Contribute data and actionable insights for quarterly business reviews and strategic-planning discussions. • Collaborate with Sales, Production Planning, Logistics, and Finance to support seamless execution of supply plans. What Will You Learn and Embark on at the Start? • Learn the end-to-end supply and demand planning workflow and how Revenue Operations supports strategic account execution. • Become familiar with backlog tracking, purchase order reconciliation, data validation, and standard reporting processes. • Support routine data collection and report updates under the guidance of senior Account Managers and cross-functional partners. • Build an understanding of key operational metrics, including forecast accuracy, fill rates, and lead times. • Participate in working sessions with internal teams to understand supply issues, customer priorities, and escalation management. What You Would Ultimately Be Able to Be Proficient In? • Managing accurate and consistent operational data for supply, demand, backlog, and purchase order tracking. • Preparing clear performance reports and identifying trends or gaps that require follow-up. • Supporting demand analysis and translating data into practical insights for planning discussions. • Coordinating effectively across Sales, Production Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Account Management. • Supporting issue escalation through structured data gathering, root-cause identification, and proposed short-term actions. • Understanding the operational backbone of strategic account management and building a foundation for future growth in Revenue Operations or account management.

Your experience includes:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. • Basic ability to analyze data and present information clearly. • Interest in supply and demand planning, Revenue Operations, or strategic account management.

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
