About our group:

This team is dedicated to enhancing and supporting SAP S4 HANA business processes. It manages the entire lifecycle from planning to production, interfacing with both upstream planning systems and downstream production systems to ensure seamless operations.

About the role - you will:

  • Lead business process improvements and provide support for SAP Production Planning (PP).
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business process requirements and deliver appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and refine business requirements.
  • Design, customize, Configure, and test SAP PP solutions.
  • Identify gaps and issues, and develop effective workarounds.
  • Understand existing business processes, IT landscapes, and system architecture.
  • Apply best practices to support SAP ERP configurations across various modules.
     

About you:

  • Possess strong understanding of standard PP processes, including discrete and repetitive manufacturing, planning, master data, inventory management, contract manufacturing, and serial number and batch management.
  • Have familiarity with shop floor inventory processes.
  • Should be proficient in understanding business processes and core application environments.
  • Must be capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Your experience includes:

  • Participation in at least two S/4 HANA implementations and two support engagements.
  • Expertise in SAP PP master data elements such as Material, BOM, Routing, and Production Version.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PP business processes, including MRP, production orders, REM, and inventory transactions.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional areas like Batch Management, Serial Number Management, and IBASE.
  • Experience with third-party interfaces, IDOCs, and EDI.
  • Familiarity with SAP debugging, tables, and queries.
  • Experience with integration between SAP MM, SD, FI, and CO modules.
  • Proven track record as an individual contributor and team player.
  • Extensive hands-on delivery experience with multiple SAP projects, including implementations, rollouts, and support. Project exposure includes global template definition, business blueprinting, requirement gathering, process mapping, configuration, final delivery, and support activities.
  • Understanding / exposure to other SAP modules, particularly FI and MM.
  • Understanding of PI/Cycle count processes will be an added advantage.
  • Overview knowledge of plant maintenance and project systems.
