Sr Staff Analyst - Salesforce Architect

About our group:

Our team is responsible for design, development and support of business applications for Seagate Sales, Marketing organizations and enterprise-wide Salesforce platform support. We are strategic partners to the business in leveraging IT solutions. This is a key role in providing internal consulting, analysis and optimization IT solutions for Sales, Marketing processes and enterprise-wide process that leverage Salesforce platform. You will develop secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that maximize the full potential of the Salesforce Application Platform

About the role - you will:

  • Actively work with different functional group to understand their business and technical requirements on a project that enable and release the maximum business value of Salesforce technology
  • Provide suggestions and consulting for best suitable design, licenses usage and implementation approach for scalable and robust application
  • Evaluate tradeoffs with technology and feasibility and make choices that fit the constraints of the project
  • Own implementation tasks from initial planning and requirements analysis, through design, development, testing and deployment
  • Leading business and functional requirements definition and prioritization/scoping of requirements and managing resource requirements and project team members
  • Develop technical documentation, gap analysis between current state and desired future state, Solutioning and effort estimation for requirements
  • Serve as a technical and subject matter expert on selected projects to support advanced training for team members on moderate to high complex technical subjects
  • Provide technical knowledge and best practices to junior team members, at the same time program manage Salesforce technical project team both onshore and offshore assisting with projects
  • Coach and mentor team members and advise managers on creating business and process efficiencies in internal workflows and training materials
  • Lead on continuous Salesforce platform code governance process and release & deployment process.

  • Passionate to keep self-knowledge updated with Salesforce releases
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start a new initiative and drive complex issues through analysis and resolution

Your experience includes:

  • Salesforce delivery management, business analysis, and technology implementation in full life cycle
  • Salesforce features, products, and technology.is must
  • Waterfall and agile project methodologies
  • Salesforce governance limit and best practices
  • Project management skills
  • Data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ERP, Dell Boomi, CPQ, Eloqua - marketing automation, Tableau etc.)
  • Platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
  • Environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Sales methodologies and processes
  • Salesforce sales cloud and service cloud is required
