Staff Analyst - AEM Developer

About our group:

CWS, Corporate Web services Group maintains and supports all the external internet-facing Web Applications at Seagate. We are looking for an AEM Developer who will help migrate our existing corporate sites from our existing CMS (Content Management Systems).  

About the role - you will:

•    Be responsible for developing and maintaining multiple external sites on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 
•    Participate in the implementation of AEM including design, definition, and development of AEM content type models, workflows, templates, and components, and use permissions 
•    Setup and configure AEM authoring, publishing, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices 
•    Setup and configure MSM architecture 

•    Integrate AEM with other internal endpoints 
•    Work closely with Managed Service Team or vendor to ensure sound practices regarding site architecture, performance and reliability, and content delivery are in place 
•    Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments and migrations 
•    Develop re­usable integrations across sites while ensuring good governance practices are in place and standards are being followed 
•    Follow best practices for secure web programming and deployment. Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration

About you:

•    You’re detail-oriented, well organized with solid time management skills, and you have effective verbal and written communications abilities  
•    Ability to motivate people and instill ownership, reliability, teamwork, and commitment in the team 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with different teams and peers in the organization 
•    AEM Certification is a plus 
•    You are an expert and comfortable with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular) 

Your experience includes:

•  Eexperience working on web based technologies with strong Java/J2EE background. 

•    AEM/CQ5 experience with 3+ full cycle AEM projects and at least one plus year in Web experience 
•    Expertise in full stack development within AEM,  
•    Strong experience with MSM, Dynamic Media.  
•    Experience with integrating AEM with other products 
•    Solid experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs widgets and bundles 
•    Experience with Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, and DAM 
•    Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc.), and CSS pre­processing platforms (SASS) 
•    Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (Jenkins/Cruise Control/Maven/GitHub)
