About our group:

We manage Inventory, Shipments, & Receipts at Seagate’s Just-In-Time 3rd party JIT Hubs in the  Americas region. These Hubs allow our larger OEM Customers to have instant access to Seagate products as their demand requires without waiting on delivery time from our Factories.

About the role - you will:

  • Day-to-day supervisory assistance to Manager for the team onsite.
  • Assist team when issues are escalated and guide/help to resolution.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expert on Order Management processes.
  • Stand in for manager in meetings or whenever called upon.
  • Participate and assist in UATs and signoff.
  • Help to work issues as they arise from Account Management, Customers, or other Team
    members.
  • Ensure accurate translation of POs, with company approved pricing, into Order Entry system
    within 24 hours Ensure existing backlog are always shippable, and free of any OM related holds.
  • Work with Sales, Account Management and Finance on any other holds that prevent the backlog
    from being shippable.
  • Trigger ship documentations to Logistics / Traffic in a timely fashion to help expedite shipments
  • Ensure JIT hub customer product pulls are invoiced in a timely fashion
  • Provide accurate responses to queries regarding order status, shipments and backlogs
  • Solve day to day problems independently and raise/report problems to Team Lead / Manager
  • Maintain customer files and correspondences and ensure accurate and clear filing of documents
  • Support and provide documentation for Audit and SOX - Support Customers, Sales and Account
  • Management on all order queries / issues
  • Advocate B2B connections with new customers and assist with customer onboarding
  • Actively monitor and report system issues and relentlessly follow up with IT to resolution
  • Assist Audit / SOX team and manager to ensure team compliance and understanding.

About you:

  • Adept with excellent verbal and written communication skills. English a must.
  • Able to interact and perform in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • A person with experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of policies and Audit / SOX compliance.
     

Your experience includes:

  • Proficient ability to work in ERP (Oracle and SAP - preferred), International Trade Controls Systems, and Shipping systems.  
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Fluency in MS 365 Office applications, including the proficient user of Excel.
  • Experience working in the SAP Environment
  • The ability to work under pressure
