The Corporate Development and Strategy team is a small yet dynamic group that collaborates with cross-functional teams to capitalize on adjacent opportunities and develop strategic partnerships that drive the business forward.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities outside Hard Disk Drive Storage in the UK market.
  • Systematically establish and nurture an ecosystem of diverse technical partners.
  • Develop strategic business development plans for implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure our technology portfolio leads to executable opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to partners, and executives.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
     


 

About you:

 

  • Experienced in implementing creative partnership structures, establishing joint engineering/POCs from start to finish – like JDA, NRE/SOWs, MoUs/LOI and other engagement types.
  • Familiar with basic financial modeling knowledge and skills such as: ROI, ROIC and NPV assessments.
  • Possess strong cross functional project/ program management skills (to move a project from initial discussions to POCs to commercial) with stage gates, timelines etc.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor, photonics, foundry services and contract manufacturers is a plus.
  • Able to thrive in a team environment while capable of self-directing.
  • A strong regional and global network of contacts.
     

 


 

Your experience includes:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset is required to be successful.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


You might also have:

 

  • Excellent organization skills
  • Project Management experience
  • Familiar with Smartsheets and dashboards is a plus
     

 

Location:

 

UK, Prefer Northern Ireland for direct engagement with engineering and fabrication teams
