About our group:

Process Technology Development (PTD) is developing HAMR (Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording) and at the same time, extending the current HDD technology, perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR). Our group mainly focus on developing thin film cleanroom processes, e.g., high vacuum sputtering deposition, Filtered Cathodic Arc and etching processes. Our team is developing new slider processes or technology to meet future product roadmap requirements. 

About the role - you will:

  • Be responsible for thin film process development to meet new product roadmap requirements. 
  • Continuous improvement on current processes in terms of process performance and capability. 
  • Plan & execute experiment to develop thin film processes.

About you:

  • Capable of doing presentation on development work performed. 
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment  
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, organization, and presentation skills  
  • Ability to effectively plan, control and take responsibility for timeline and status update  
  • Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written 

Your experience includes:

  • Experience with Physics Nano Materials Science 
  • Excellent computer skills e.g. MS office and strong analytical backgrounds 
  • Basic of hard drive technology 
  • Having a good understanding of process development 

Location:

Korat, Thailand
