About our group:

Slider Manufacturing (MFG) at Seagate Korat Factory is seeking a professional who will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for supervising manpower and managing resources to ensure successful product delivery in alignment with the Slider master build plan. The role requires effective oversight of production teams to drive operational efficiency and achieve functional excellence.

About the role - you will:

· Responsible for executing slider manufacturing in accordance with the build plan at the Slider Final Visual Inspection operation.
· Team Management: Assign tasks, organize schedules, and ensure adequate manpower in shifts.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
· Training and Development: Identify skill gaps, mentor team members, and coordinate training programs to enhance competencies.
· Communication: Act as a liaison between management and staff, communicate company policies, and gather team feedback.
· Problem Solving: Address conflicts, operational issues, and workflow bottlenecks by implementing effective solutions.
· Resource Management: Allocate tools, materials, and other resources efficiently to support smooth operations.
· Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to workplace policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
· Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on team performance, operational metrics, and other relevant data to management.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve slider operations.
· Continuous Improvement: Engage in Kaizen activities and apply Lean principles to optimize processes.
· Additional Support: Provide support for special assignments as required.

About you:

· Leadership and team management, including motivating and developing employees
· Strong verbal and written communication for coordination and reporting
· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle operational challenges
· Time management and organizational skills to oversee multiple tasks and schedules
· Ability to work with management systems and lead diverse teams
· Advanced working knowledge of MS Office programs

Your experience includes:

 

· Bachelor’s degree or above.
· Familiar with Slider manufacturing.
· Strong verbal and written communication for coordination and reporting
· Experience in managing teams, good leadership
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing and experience in Kaizen continuous improvement
· Effective project management skill
· Demonstrated innovation and self-motivated worker
· Advanced working knowledge of MS Office programs

Korat Thailand
