About our group:

We are a team of Global Infrastructure Services professionals responsible for supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms, virtualization services, Kubernetes platforms, data center operations, GPU infrastructure, and related platform services across Seagate's global IT environment.

Our team provides operational support, platform administration, infrastructure modernization, and governance for enterprise computing environments. We collaborate with global IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners worldwide to ensure infrastructure services remain reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

About the role - you will:

Support enterprise infrastructure and virtualization services across VMware, XenServer, KVM, Rancher, Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, and related platform services.

Provide operational ownership and technical support for infrastructure platforms to ensure service continuity, reliability, performance, and security.

Administer and support Kubernetes platforms, Rancher environments, virtualization platforms, and enterprise compute services.

Support Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems, including platform administration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.

Maintain operational playbooks, deployment guidelines, onboarding procedures, technical standards, and infrastructure documentation.

Support GPU platform services and AI/ML infrastructure environments.

Perform infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution activities.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders globally to support infrastructure projects and operational requirements.

Support infrastructure standardization, platform governance, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Participate in data center operations, infrastructure modernization, storage services, backup platforms, and enterprise computing initiatives.

Identify opportunities to improve platform stability, operational efficiency, automation, and service quality.

Engage closely with global IT teams and business stakeholders to support enterprise infrastructure services and operational requirements.

About you:

Your experience includes:

Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, or data center operations.

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, XenServer, or KVM.

Experience with Kubernetes platforms, Rancher administration, or container platform operations.

Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environments.

Experience with infrastructure troubleshooting, production support, incident management, and routine platform maintenance.

Experience creating or maintaining operational documentation, technical standards, deployment guidelines, or onboarding procedures.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and infrastructure stakeholders.

Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Korat, Thailand

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
