About our group:

Our group is responsible for driving manufacturing test process, product quality, and optimization for advanced data storage products. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Product Development to improve yield, reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The team focuses on solving complex technical challenges, implementing innovative solutions, and supporting high-volume manufacturing to ensure successful product delivery.

About the role - you will:

•    Lead technical problem-solving and drive resolution of complex manufacturing, test, and product quality issues
•    Develop and implement strategies to improve yield, test performance, reliability, and overall manufacturing efficiency
•    PCO Release and control, including risk management, follow SOP
•    Drive build Configuration management per BOM / ECN or any customer-specific restriction (Head, Media, Firmware, Servo code) per SOP
•    Analyze CERT testing data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Including providing the realistic assumption of Yield and Test time to IE/Production by rolling into the FROST system
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Design, Firmware, Quality, Operations, and Manufacturing to achieve business objectives
•    Drive process optimization initiatives and establish robust engineering solutions to support high-volume manufacturing
•    Support new product introduction and technology transitions by ensuring manufacturing readiness and successful product ramp volume

About you:

•    Ability to interpret engineering data and make data-driven decisions
•    Experienced in Drive Test process flow /algorithm
•    Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, test engineering, and product quality systems
•    Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA)
•    Proficiency in statistical data analysis and process control techniques
•    Experience with yield improvement, reliability analysis, and process optimization
•    Good command of English and Thai 

Your experience includes:

•    Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field
•    Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline
•    Proven experience in solving complex technical and manufacturing challenges using data-driven methodologies
•    Strong background in yield improvement, process optimization, reliability enhancement, and root cause analysis
•    Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Product Development teams
•    Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment
•    Strong technical leadership with a track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global organization
•    Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as JMP, Minitab, SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
•    Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, SPC, FMEA, and other problem-solving methodologies
•    Experience in HDD manufacturing, backend test operations, or storage technology is highly desirable

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees.
