Staff Engineer, Process Integration Engineer (Slider Mechanical Development)
Nakhon Ratchasima, TH
Level: Staff Engineer (Senior Individual Contributor role; no direct reports)
About our group:
We are seeking a highly capable Process Integration Engineer to support slider mechanical technology development by owning end to end integration of processes, materials, designs, and metrology across the development flow. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that individual process innovations come together as a coherent, scalable, and robust technology solution.
The Process Integration Engineer will focus on system level interactions, trade offs, and readiness across development stages, working closely with process module owners, metrology, cleanliness, and design teams. By driving integration discipline, this role ensures alignment to the technology roadmap and supports smooth progression from concept through technology maturity.
About the role - you will:
- Own end to end process integration for slider mechanical development, ensuring alignment across process steps, materials, design intent, and metrology.
- Identify and manage cross process interactions, risks, and trade offs that impact performance, reliability, and technology readiness.
- Define and execute integration experiments (DOE, test vehicles, learning cycles) to evaluate system level behavior.
- Serve as the primary technical interface across process modules, metrology, cleanliness/defect, and design teams.
- Establish integration readiness criteria, learning milestones, and integration checkpoints across development stages.
- Support technology transfers by ensuring integrated process flows are well understood, documented, and scalable.
About you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Physics, or related discipline).
- 8+ years of experience in process development, integration engineering, or advanced technology development.
- Strong system level understanding of mechanical processes, materials interactions, and product architecture.
- Proven experience driving cross functional technical problem solving.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in DOE, data analysis, and interpretation of multi variable interactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Your experience includes:
- Experience with slider, HDD, semiconductor, or other precision high technology products.
- Familiarity with technology staging, readiness frameworks, or pre production development environments.
- Working knowledge of metrology and defect mechanisms as they relate to integration risk.
- Experience supporting technology flow definition or early platform bring up.
Competencies
- Systems Thinking – ability to see interactions across processes, materials, and design rather than optimizing in isolation.
- Integration Leadership – effective at aligning diverse technical owners toward a common technology objective.
- Analytical & Problem Solving – structured, data driven approach to diagnosing complex integration issues.
- Collaboration & Influence – trusted partner across development functions.
- Execution Discipline – capable of driving integration learning to closure within development timelines.
