About our group:

Our team is focused on advancing metrology techniques within the slider manufacturing process. We are seeking a driven and innovative engineer to lead the development of image processing and machine learning solutions, as well as machine design and software development. Our mission is to enhance the precision and efficiency of metrology systems, enabling high-quality, high-throughput manufacturing processes that align with next-generation product roadmaps.

About the role - you will:

· Take ownership of metrology solutions, focusing on image processing, machine learning algorithms, and machine design for new product integration.

· Design, develop, and validate automated systems and software that support high-precision, high-throughput metrology processes.

· Lead the development of metrology transformation projects from concept through proof-of-concept and final deployment.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify bottlenecks, and optimize end-to-end metrology processes.

· Lead risk assessments, feasibility studies, and pilot trials to ensure technical robustness and process scalability.

· Manage project execution, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and adoption.

About you:

· Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Computer Science, or a related field).

· Strong aptitude in image processing, machine learning, and automation systems.

· Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.

· Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally across development, production, and equipment engineering teams.

· Strong project management skills and accountability in driving tasks to closure under fast-paced timelines.

· Effective communicator in both written and spoken English.

Your experience includes:

· Knowledge in designing image processing algorithms, machine learning models, and automation systems.

· Knowledge of process development in high-volume manufacturing environments.

· Familiarity with CAD design tools, software development, and basic automation control systems is an advantage.
