About our group:
The Slider Process is performing Slider Manufacturing support and process development, as well as other cleanroom processes development (photolithography& bar assembly & adhesive development etc.). Our team is developing new slider processes or technology to meet future product roadmap requirements and drive to solve problems with thoroughness and determination, developing the tooling, equipment, or technology to support mass manufacturing with sustainable or better machine quality, reliability productivity
We are seeking a highly motivated Adhesive Assembly Process Engineer to own and improve adhesive-based assembly processes in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role focuses on process stability, defect reduction, yield improvement, and new material qualification across complex multi-layer adhesive assembly flows.
About the role - you will:
1. Process Ownership & Improvement:
● Be responsible for adhesive assembly processes consisting of multiple adhesive layers and multiple assembly stations (e.g., spray, roller, pressing)
● Monitor and control key process parameters (KPIVs/KPOVs) to ensure process stability, yield, and reliability
● Lead systematic defect reduction activities, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and long-term process fixes
● Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce scrap, rework, and variability using data-driven methods (DOE, SPC, LEAN, Six Sigma)
● Troubleshoot equipment and process related-issues impacting yield, uptime, or product quality
2. Adhesive & Material Engineering:
● Maintain, develop, and validate adhesive dispensing systems and related tooling
● Lead in process and new adhesive material qualification, including buy off, characterization, and process window definition
● Work closely with material suppliers to evaluate adhesive behavior, curing, contamination risk, and cleanability
3. Documentation & Standardization:
● Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process recipes, FMEAs, and control plans
● Ensure process documentation reflects actual shop floor conditions and supports repeatable execution
● Provide technical training and coaching to technicians and operators on adhesive processes and defect prevention
● Safety & Compliance, Ensure full compliance with cleanroom protocols, EHS requirements, and chemical handling standards
● Promote safe work practices and proactive risk identification in adhesive and chemical processes
About you:
● Fluent in Thai and English communication and presentation both, spoken and written
● Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic en
● Ability to effectively plan, control, and take responsibility for the timeline and status update
● Excellent teamwork, leadership, organization, and presentation skills
Your experience includes:
• Bachelor’s master’s or PhD degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science, Physics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Relevant experience
• Knowledge of adhesive dispensing systems and material handling automation
• Experience in process development and improvement using LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies
• Understanding the slider process would be an advantage
