About our group:

Our team is responsible for Slider Operation support to ensure Slider Manufacturing continues to deliver per schedule and further protect Seagate Supply chain. 

The team is also responsible for building a platform to enable AI/ML integration into Slider Manufacturing process, where we facilitate Operation to move into Industrial 4.0. 

About the role - you will:

  • Act as Level 2 Support to help Service Desk on Factory issue that not able to handle by level1 support 

  • Act as consultant for Process/Manufacturing team in Slider system related query 

  • Responsible for Slider system maintenance and troubleshooting 

  • Liaise with developer on system design & development, support team communication and future enhancement 

  • Opportunity to be involved in system development depending on capability (knowledge and skills) 

About you:

  • Basic Computer/OS troubleshooting skills are required. Specifically on Windows OS. 

  • Programming knowledge will be added advantage (Visual Studio/C#, Python) 

  • Infrastructure knowledge on networking and Kubernetes will be added advantage 

  • Knowledge on Oracle, Postgre SQL, Web Services, IIS Servers will be added advantage 

  • Slider system training will be provided

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees.
