About our group:

Our Supply Demand Alignment team is a key part of Seagate, responsible for aligning customer demand with manufacturing capacity, inventory, and revenue objectives through Demand and Supply Planning. Leveraging SAP and IBP planning systems, we develop optimized build and master schedules, manage inventory, and provide scenario-based planning to support customer commitments and business growth. As the bridge between customer demand and factory execution, we collaborate closely with Global Revenue Operations, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams to deliver executable supply plans, optimize resources, and maintain high service levels. Working as part of a global organization spanning Asia and the US, we support worldwide customer requirements and data-driven decision-making that directly impacts manufacturing priorities, inventory performance, customer satisfaction, and overall business results.

About the role - you will:

  • Receive and Review Demand Signals: Weekly review of demand signals from Customer, Business Opportunity, CTU, Internal Demand.
  • Analyze Total Demand Requirements: Weekly analysis of Total Demand Requirements and understanding week-over-week changes.
  • Understand Supply Capability: Assess factory and supply capabilities (internal/external manufacturing) to meet the master schedule, identifying constraints and opportunities.
  • Adjust Build Requirement & Master Schedule: Make decisions to adjust the master schedule to drive material and builds to support Total Demand Requirements, without overdriving based on factory/supply capability.
  • Align Supply and Demand: Ensure sufficient supply to meet Total Demand Requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage finished goods inventory for specific customers with contractual requirements (Days of Supply).
  • Facilitate “What-If” Scenarios: Support a 24-hour turnaround time for customer opportunities through “what-if” scenario planning.
  • Utilize SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), AI tools, automation and digital solutions to improve productivity, reduce manual intervention, and optimize business processes.

About you:

  • Effective communicator with excellent English proficiency, successfully leading and collaborating across cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, enabling sound decision-making in dynamic environments.
  • Supply Chain Management expertise, driving effective planning, execution, and continuous operational improvements.
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, and agile team player with strong analytical skills and practical AI knowledge, leveraging AI tools to enhance data analysis, improve productivity, and drive work efficiency.

Your experience includes:

  • Expertise in Supply Chain Management, Supply and Demand Planning.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP/ IBP, Microsoft Office applications, and AI-driven tools, leveraging technology to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis using various tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field.

Korat, Thailand

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
