About our group:

Product Performance Engineering (PPE) provides data-driven engineering solutions to improve product performance, manufacturing yield, and customer quality. Our team works closely with Head Design teams, Drive Centers, Program Management, and Manufacturing sites to understand product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and solve complex engineering problems through systematic data analysis.

About the role - you will:

• Build expertise in slider processes and reader/writer product performance
• Use data and statistical analysis to identify performance gaps, key drivers, and root causes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and drive improvement projects
• Develop monitoring, visualization, and automation solutions for faster, data-driven decisions
• Drive new ideas that improve product performance, yield, quality, and engineering productivity

About you:

• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Strong analytical, data, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate across teams
• Take ownership of assigned problems and projects
• Communicate engineering insights clearly in Thai and English

Your experience includes:

• Engineering or related technical education and/or equivalent practical experience
• Experience solving engineering problems using data and statistical analysis
• Experience with data analytics tools such as JMP, KNIME, Tableau, SQL, or equivalent
• Knowledge of HDD/slider technology, statistics, process control, or yield analysis is preferred
• Python, R, AI/ML, or related experience is an advantage

Location:

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
