Ellipsometer metrology: An ellipsometer is a precision scientific instrument used to measure the thickness and optical properties of thin films by analyzing how polarized light changes after reflecting off a surface. The primary role of an ellipsometer is used characterize film in Diamond like Head Over Coat film field  

About the role - you will:

    • Background of project: Ellipsometer have 2 measurement software WVASE and CompletEase. WVASE was the first software developed for use with J.A. Woollam’s Ellipsometer. It has been the standard for many years. Later, the CompletEase software were developed with advancement of functional and intuitive interface for data analysis and reporting of results. Currently the DLC&AL uniformity qualifying process is on use the WVASE software while other process use CompletEase. This results in frequent switching between software platforms, which can affect workflow efficiency. Therefore, this project aims to transfer the DLC & AL uniformity qualification process from WVASE to CompleteEASE to unify the software usage and improve operational consistency. 

    • Support validate Ellipsometer measurement software transfer from VASE to CompletEase of DLC&AL uniformity qualifing process. 

    • Support on Measurement to collect data between VASE measurement data vs CompleteEase measurement data. 

    • Compare and analyze measurement data in each alternative model to correct the best CompletEase model to implement . 

    • Suggest in measurement recipe to meet best efficiency. 

About you:

  • Good data analytic skill(i.e., statistical, material science)

    Able to collaborative work with others and well communication.

    Good in English verbal and written communication

    Able to complete project objective within intern period. 

Your experience includes:

  • · Knowledge on material characteristic. 

    · Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in relevant field. 

    · Familiarity with Ellipsometers is preferred 

    · Familiarity with optical science and engineering is preferred.

Korat, Thailand
