About our group:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results driven Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Process Metrology Development organization. This role is critical in enabling technology development through best known metrology methodologies, measurement standardization and alignment, and technology readiness progression across development stages.
The manager will provide leadership for metrology innovation and capability scaling, including definition of measurement strategies, methodology qualification, and readiness frameworks that support current and next generation technology platforms. By driving robust metrology development, the role ensures strong alignment with the company’s technology roadmap and long term product requirements.

About the role - you will:

  • Lead the Process Metrology Development team to deliver robust, scalable measurement capabilities aligned with technology roadmap needs.
  • Define, develop, align and standardize best known metrology methodologies across development stages.
  • Drive metrology technology readiness, including method qualification, capability benchmarking, and deployment criteria.
  • Close partnership with cross functional development teams to ensure metrology solutions meet evolving technology requirements.
  • Build and execute metrology development roadmaps aligned with future product technology needs.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Physics, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Proven expertise in process metrology, measurement science, or analytical method development.
  • Strong technical background in semiconductor, hard disk drive, or related high technology industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and delivering complex development programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Your experience includes:

  • Experience in organizational leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of advanced metrology techniques (e.g., Thin Film Metrology, CD SEM, optical, AFM, surface, defect, or material analysis).
  • Experience defining technology readiness levels, qualification frameworks, or development staging.
  • Global experience working with multi site teams and external partners or suppliers.

Location:

Korat, Thailand

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
