About our group:

Occupational Health is a program within the Environmental Health and Safety. The Occupational Health team is made up of licensed medical staff who provide services to support the health and well-being of Seagate employees supplemented by contracted services as needed.

About the role - you will:

  • Be responsible for initial medical care, medical screening, and health education of employees. Responsible for all medical records, including individual employee health records. Includes physicians, nurses, and medical technicians.
  • Renders nursing services or first aid to employees who become ill or are involved in an accident on company premises.
  • Provides Annual Medical Surveillance for personnel defined.
  • Provides support in the process of medical leaves of absence for Workers’ Compensation as required.
  • Assists in maintaining the health facility in an orderly, clean and sanitary condition.
  • Provide support in the OH Program process e.g., Communicable/Infection Management program, Employees fit to duty, Food hygiene and Safety, etc.

About you:

  • Registered nurses certified with current practicing license by the local Ministry of Public Health
  • Preferable with Occupational Health certification
  • Computer skills (Microsoft office)
  • Ability to speak, listening, write and read English is required
  • Encourage positive attitude towards OH&S
  • Develop and maintain relevant knowledge of OH&S matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and people skills allowing for the ability to motivate, cooperate and work effectively with others and support the site service level expectation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in clinical interventions, including history taking and all aspect of the medical examination as required based on standards of medical practices.
  • Accountability and service-minded
  • Able to work under pressure

Your experience includes:

  • At least 1 - 3 years experiences working in hospital Accident & Emergency Department or Surgical Unit.
  • Having the experience to provide on-site medical service in the factory (Full time or part-time)
  • Experiences the management system of the following standard:
    • ISO 45001
    • RBA
  • Able to work as a shift nurse.
