The Occupational Health (OH) team at Seagate Korat is dedicated to protecting and promoting employee health through preventive health programs, medical surveillance, workforce health analytics, health promotion initiatives, and regulatory compliance. The team partners closely with employees, management, Human Resources, EHS, and healthcare providers to support a healthy and productive workforce. This internship offers hands-on exposure to industrial occupational health practices, health data analytics, and occupational health program improvement initiatives.
About the role - you will:
As an Occupational Health Program Intern, you will support Occupational Health-owned preventive health programs, health outcome analytics, compliance readiness activities, and continuous improvement projects under the guidance of Occupational Health professionals. The internship is project-based and focuses on occupational health program improvement while maintaining strict privacy and confidentiality requirements. Key responsibilities include: Contribute to Medical Surveillance Program activities by updating tracking records, validating data accuracy, monitoring completion status, and developing dashboard outputs using de-identified data. Support basic MSD (Musculoskeletal Disorder) and ergonomic health analysis by reviewing symptom trends and discomfort reports, identifying potential risk areas, and proposing practical prevention opportunities. Perform assigned compliance-readiness activities, including organizing evidence, reviewing documents against defined requirements, monitoring gaps, and tracking corrective actions to closure. Analyze aggregated workforce health trends, including wellness participation, fatigue, obesity, hypertension, and shift-work health. Design and produce practical project deliverables, such as dashboards, reports, presentations, data summaries, or analytical tools, to support Occupational Health decision-making. Take part in health promotion, prevention, and improvement activities that support employee wellbeing and provide practical learning experience. Summarize and present project findings, key insights, and recommendations to the Occupational Health team and relevant stakeholders with support from the project supervisor.
About you:

Eager to learn, take initiative, and gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle health information with discretion and confidentiality. Collaborative and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with data, documents, and multiple project activities.
Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Basic knowledge of occupational health, workplace health promotion, data analysis, or research methods is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is an advantage. Good analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to communicate in English for workplace correspondence, documentation, and presentations.
