About our group:

Our Inventory team works with many departments like Production, Engineering, Logistics, Planning, and Purchasing to manage inventory and supply chain activities. We help make sure the right parts are available at the right time. We also support BOM (Bill of Materials) and part setup, which helps with finance and costing setup. This role may involve cross-functional collaboration and occasional support for special projects.

About the role - you will:

  • Monitor and resolve SAP transaction errors related to material master data, including missing or incorrectly synced materials.
  • Review and process new material requests from operations, ensuring accurate setup of new parts in SAP.
  • Check Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) from Windchill to identify new part numbers and initiate synchronization to SAP.
  • Configure and maintain material attributes in SAP to support production requirements.
  • Validate and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring correct linkage to production processes.
  • Set up new parts in factory information systems for engineering use, aligned with production needs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure material data supports operational goals.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance across PLM and ERP systems (Windchill and SAP).
  • Support physical inventory checks and maintain data accuracy in SAP.
  • Assist in creating or updating SOPs related to material master data processes.
  • Participate in system testing and data migration projects for new materials or changes.

About you:

  • You are able to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written, to support daily tasks and teamwork.
  • You are detail-oriented and can spot issues in inventory records or transactions.
  • You’re good at solving problems and open to learning new tools or processes.
  • You can manage your time well and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • You are self-driven and able to work independently.
  • You’re comfortable working with data and creating reports for analysis.
  • You can adapt to changes and respond to urgent requests when needed.

Your experience includes:

  • Managing material master data in ERP and PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Windchill) with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinating new part setup processes, including ECN review and cross-system data synchronization.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system errors or data mismatches related to material records.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate material data setup.
  • Supporting system testing and data migration projects involving material master updates.
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing environments and production-related data requirements.
  • Using Microsoft Excel for data validation, cleanup, and reporting.
  • Following SOPs and contributing to process improvements in material data management.

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with almost 20,000 employees.
