As an HR Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting our TA & UR, HRC, IC , DEI, L&D and HRBP & Sites team in managing talent acquisition, University Relations, HR Central, Internal Communication, Employee Relations, and Immigration pass & Work permit-related activities. About the role - you will:
1. Talent Acquisition & University Relations · Support the talent acquisition team in recruitment processes. · Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. · Conduct research on Universities Directory such as new faculties and Co-op timelines as new update database for UR team especially Non-STEM Faculties · Support team on project to identify new method or channel of employment branding towards current generations. · Administrative support on arrange and manage schedule of interview sessions for intern candidates 2. HRC: · Onboarding and Offboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome kits, scheduling orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. Similarly, help with offboarding tasks such as collecting and checking the Notice of Resignation documents. · Support the HRC site team in addressing employee queries and concerns. · Assist HRC Asia team to analyze the HRC metrics. 3. Internal Communication: · Create engaging content for internal compaigns and initiatives. · Organize and assist in internal events and meeting ensuring effective communication and logistics. · Maintain and update internal communication materials and resources. 4. Employee relationship processes: · Collaborate with HR colleagues to support employee relations initiatives. · Assist in organizing and participating in employee engagement activities. · Help in addressing employee inquiries and concerns related to HR processes. 5. DEI · Support ERG Activities: Assist in organizing and coordinating Employee Resource Group (ERG) events and initiatives in Thailand, ensuring alignment with DEI goals. · DEI Awards Research: Conduct research on DEI awards and recognitions relevant to Thailand, identifying opportunities for the organization to apply and gain recognition. 6. Learning & Development · Facilitation Skills Practice: Develop and practice facilitation skills by leading ice-breaking activities and interactive sessions during face-to-face workshops. · Moderate Virtual Workshops: Act as a moderator for virtual workshops, ensuring smooth execution and active participation from attendees. · Content Development: Collaborate with the L&D team to create engaging training materials and resources that support DEI initiatives and learning programs. 7. Immigration 7.1 Immigration Pass Application: · Assist in the preparation and submission of immigration pass application of immigration pass applications for foreign employees. · Ensure all required document is accurate and complete. · Follow up on application status and communication updates to relevant parties. 7.2 Work Permit Application, Renewal, and Cancellation: · Support the HRBP & Site Support team in applying for new work permits and renewing existing ones. · Monitor work permit expiration dates and initiate timely renewals. · Assist with the cancellation process for terminated or departing employees. 7.3 Compliance and Documentation: · Maintain up-to-date records of immigration passes and work permits. · Ensure compliance with local immigration laws and regulations. · Assist in organizing and archiving immigration-related documents. 7.4 Coordination & Collaboration: · Act as a liaison between the company, government authorities, and external service providers. · Communicate with foreign employees regarding their immigration and work permit matters. · Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure seamless support for employees. 7.5 Research and Updates: · Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and regulations. · Conduct research to provide insights and recommendations for improving talent acquisition, employee relation, and immigration processes.
