The Operations Quality & Analytics (OQ&A) organization protects and enhances Seagate’s Total Customer Experience by developing, deploying, and sustaining end to end quality analytics and processes. Our goal is to enable early detection and prevention of HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and system issues through trusted, data driven insights.
The HDD In Process Quality team supports this mission by conducting in process audits, monitoring material and process parameters, containing issues, and ensuring robust implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions.

About the role - you will:

●    Be responsible for managing 8D activities for Korat HDD and System issues, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving and closure
●    Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Failure Analysis) to gather, validate, and consolidate data for root cause analysis
●    Manage HDD Finished Goods data in inventory for Quality Stop Ship actions, including blocking, tracking history, monitoring impact, and reporting status 
●    Oversee and monitor HDD In-Process Quality execution across Assembly-Automation lines, Back-End lines, and system lines.
●    Apply structured problem-solving methods and End-to-End data to identify, validate, and confirm root causes
●    Contain problematic HDD or System parts and perform verification
●    Collaborate with FA for failure analysis and follow-up until closure
●    Support teams during root cause investigations and ensure effective implementation and validation of corrective and preventive actions

About you:

●    Experience in HDD manufacturing and/or Quality Engineering
●    Strong technical mindset, detail-oriented, creative and a collaborative team player
●    Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
●    Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and multi-national collaboration skills
●    Good command of English

Your experience includes:

•    Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering fields or related engineering discipline
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
•    Knowledge of Quality and Reliability Statistical Knowledge
•    Experience working with multinational teams and working with larger-scale corporations

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
