About our group:

FDB/AMA Slider team is a part of Recording Head Technology group. It serves as a pilot team that handle experimental wafer and new Mechanical/Process design which is a key role to accelerate learning curve of design team and strengthen confident level to develop new Seagate Hard drive products

We are looking for enthusiastic people who love to challenge a new thing and solve a problem to join our team. In this team and this role, you will involve the lead technology from Seagate and work side by side with design team from Normandale, USA and Springtown ,UK

About the role - you will:

  • Be responsible for managing experiment, monitoring slider performance and shipment on time
  • Summarize experiment in term of slider performance with Statistic tool. Always be up to date about Manufacturing status
  • Control build document to have zero build error and align process flow to reduce complexity
  • Be a linkage person to Coordinate Co-operative between design site and manufacturing site
  • Support Process improvement activity/FA activity
  • Be participated in improvement project or can Initiate it
  • Support Design Maturity Activities driven out recording head technology. This includes support of relevant wafer design or Mechanical Integration

About you:

  • Good Engineering verification and evaluation skills
  • Good at Scientific fundamentals (Physics, Chemistry or Statistics) is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work across multiple teams and collaborate effectively
  • Fluent in English
  • Open-minded and good attitude

Your experience includes:

  • Presentation skills
  • Microsoft office skills such as Excel ,PowerPoint
  • Computer programing such as SQL (Structured Query Language), KNIME

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
