Creating, enacting, updating, and ensuring job safety programs for employees that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace. Training employees in the importance of health and safety in the workplace.
About the role - you will:
• Formulate strategies and procedures for Environment Health and Safety (EHS) to enhance the working environment and uphold workplace safety and government compliance
• EHS Management System: Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, RBA, TLS180001) to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other stakeholder requirements
• Risk Management: Lead risk assessment processes, identify potential hazards across all operations, and implement the hierarchy of controls to eliminate or mitigate risks of incidents, injuries, and illnesses
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure full compliance with Thai occupational health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations. Conduct regular internal audits, inspections, and site walks; prepare for and manage external audits and regulatory visits
• Incident Management: Oversee incident investigation processes, ensuring root causes are identified and effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) are implemented and tracked to prevent a recurrence. Maintain accurate incident records and report as required
• Employee Engagement & Training: Foster a strong safety culture through active consultation and collaboration with employees, representatives, and stakeholders. Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all levels of employees and contractors
• Empowerment & Intervention: Champion and manage programs that empower all personnel to stop work when unsafe conditions are perceived and to report hazards without fear of reprisal
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ergonomic solutions, promote wellness initiatives, and mitigate occupational health risks
• Environmental Management: Develop and oversee environmental programs focusing on pollution prevention, waste management, resource conservation, and sustainability initiatives, including considerations for climate change and biodiversity
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, and coordinate drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
• Contractor Management: Ensure contractors and other third parties working on-site adhere to company EHS standards and procedures
• Reporting & Performance: Track, analyze, and report on key EHS performance indicators (KPIs). Publicly share best practices and performance where appropriate and engage with community initiatives
• Integration: Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Facility, Logistics, Lab, etc.) to integrate EHS considerations into all business practices, including the development of safe products and manufacturing processes
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and other external stakeholders on EHS mattersc
About you:
Your experience includes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science/Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire colleagues across all levels
• Willingness to work collaboratively within teams and take on leadership roles when needed.
• Deep understanding of safety legislation, procedures, and best practices
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing outcomes constructively
• Excellent time management, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines efficiently.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during critical incidents or emergencies

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
