About our group:

Our team focus on advancing mechanical automation technologies to support new product form factors at the Seagate Korat Slider Factory. We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Specialist to support the development of mechanical automation systems and next-gen plate preparation system for next-generation optimized form factor (FEMTO) products.

About the role - you will:

• Assist engineers in the setup, testing, and modification of automation systems designed for smaller substrate form factors and dimensions.
• Support plate preparation system development and execute plate related experiments.
• Support analysis activities by collecting data from manual workflows and documenting process steps and evaluation result.
• Work closely with engineers, manufacturing operators, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of experiments and trials.

Your experience includes:

• Understanding of Slider bar lapping and pitstop plate preparation process would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic data computing program such as SQL, and familiar with Excel and Microsoft office.
