About our group:

Our organization is responsible for driving the overall readiness and performance of Enterprise HDD products throughout the entire Backend Test lifecycle—from NPD qualification and CTU readiness through ramp up, high volume mass production, and EOL management. We ensure that all test processes and product performance consistently meet factory operational goals in Delivery, Cost, Quality, Efficiency, and Sustainability.

About the role - you will:

•    Lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Drive Operations to ensure product and process performance consistently achieves KPI targets in cost, quality, and delivery
•    Develop, implement, and sustain robust business protocols, process control plans, preventive actions, and quality control systems to optimize product performance and meet customer expectations
•    Oversee and ensure successful new product introductions—meeting time‑to‑market milestones and achieving time‑to‑volume ramp‑ups with high yield and quality
•    Provide weekly performance updates and insights to the management team regarding product, process, and operational health
•    Manage and develop a high‑performing engineering team, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and driving both long‑term and short‑term objectives for Korat Drive Operations

About you:

•    Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities using structured business processes, systematic methodologies, and logical reasoning
•    Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and cross‑functional partners, including upstream and downstream supply chain stakeholders
•    Demonstrated excellence in leadership, teamwork, project management, and professional presentation skills
•    Ability to perform well under pressure and meet ambitious timelines in fast‑moving or challenging operational scenarios
•    Be flexible and always excited about new challenges  
•    People Management 
•    Good command of Thai and English communication both spoken and written, with the ability to explain complex technical and operational topics clearly 

Your experience includes:

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Engineering and/or relevant experience
•    Highly experienced in Hard Disk Drive (HDD) manufacturing, precision engineering, or other high volume, high accuracy production environments (HDD experience preferred)
•    Proven success in cross functional collaboration and demonstrated leadership in driving alignment and achieving operational goals across multiple groups
•    Strong capability to perform under pressure, including confidence in delivering updates and presentations to senior leaders

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
