Our organization is the Slider Process Engineering team, responsible for controlling and optimizing slider fabrication processes. The Slider Lapping Engineering and Process Department supports both new product development (NPD) and mass production by driving sustainable continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and manufacturing technology. Our mission is to ensure robust process performance while enabling current product requirements and supporting future technology and production needs.
About the role - you will:
Process SPC monitoring, root cause analysis, provide containment, corrective and preventive action. Developing process to be more robustness with FMEA and all 6-sigma tool. Reviewed /update control plan and provide training to Manufacturing. Analysis for problem solving and provide for downstream/upstream feedback related to reader/writer performance as well as provide short term and long-term fix action, design control plan and process monitoring to be more effective. Working with Manufacturing, Product Engineer, Quality Engineer, Maintenance Engineer to solve problems in production line.
About you:
Problem-solving and Having knowledge of data analytical skills. Be able to use SQL, Minitab and Microsoft especially excel. Excellent teamwork, capable of communication and presentation with cross-functional team. Open-minded and good attitude and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Fluent in English communication (Listening, Speaking, Writing, Reading).
