Drive Process Engineering supports drive manufacturing from drive assembly to test process. We work with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve product and process performance to meet cost, quality, and delivery matrix. 

About the role - you will:

·       Work in Drive Manufacturing in Korat and reporting to the Manager

·       Take ownership of yield monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement for Drive Backend test process.

·       Lead and implement yield improvement initiatives by working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, and upstream teams

·       Perform deep-dive analysis using structured problem-solving and statistical tools (e.g., 8D, SPC, regression analysis) to drive yield recovery and improvement

·       Forecast and model yield trends/assumption to identify risks and opportunities for proactive action

·       Support manufacturing operations through root cause investigations and deployment of corrective/preventive actions

About you:

·       Excellent attitude and teamwork-oriented to support organization, company and business requirements

·       Strong ownership mindset with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

·       Passionate about data analysis, manufacturing yield, and continuous improvement

·       Effective communicator in both Thai and English

·       High adaptability and drive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

·       Good self-development and OJT (On the job training) learning in process/product knowledge and Engineering knowledge

·       Good presentation skills

Your experience includes:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Mechatronics or related fields)

·       1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or yield engineering

·       Proficient in yield data analysis, SPC, DOE, and structured problem-solving

·       Familiar with Python, SQL, JMP, Minitab or other data analytic/statistical tools

·       Knowledge in manufacturing data systems, yield dashboarding, or factory automation is a plus

·       Experience with Drive Assembly/Test or Electronics manufacturing preferred

·       Working proficiency with Microsoft Office

Korat Thailand

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
