About our group:

The Industrial engineer is working to support manufacturing in a portion of Capacity planning, Equipment planning, Capital planning, Layout planning then execute per plan (The resources are Space, Equipment, HPU (Hour Per Unit)).

About the role - you will:

  • Understand process flow and provide capacity and equipment requirement by considering equipment inventory, assumption planning, product mix, process requirement and roadmap.
  • Managing equipment planning to optimize capacity to support weekly demand.
  • Working on capacity analysis to support business requirements.
  • Provide DOS assumption for material supply.
  • Apply Lean concept and IE (Industrial Engineering) tools to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of equipment to maximize capacity.

About you:

  • Good interpersonal, teamwork, communication, presentation skills and leadership
  • Having a good attitude and taking ownership of job responsibility 
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English communication

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in the Engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing.
  • Background on IE (Industrial Engineer) 
  • Experience in data analytic platform and simulation software e.g. Flexsim and Arena or capable of querying and analyzing data in the database system

Korat, Thailand
Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees.
