About our group:
The Drive Test Engineering department at Seagate Korat is responsible for testing and validating the performance and reliability of hard disk drives (HDDs) to ensure they meet quality standards. The team develops and optimizes test processes using specialized software and firmware, analyzes test data to identify root causes of failures, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. They also support new product introductions by preparing test systems and procedures aligned with production timelines. Their work plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity and accelerating time-to-market for Seagate’s storage solutions
About the role - you will:
Develop and maintain full-stack software systems (Frontend/Backend) for internal department projects Design and build user-friendly UI/UX for applications or websites using modern frameworks and tools Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) and containerization tools (Docker), using version control (Git) Conduct software testing (Unit Testing and UAT) to ensure system quality and reliability Support embedded systems and IoT development projects using Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Collaborate in Agile/SCRUM teams, contributing to project planning and iterative development

Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, C, and Python Skilled in UI/UX design with Tailwind CSS, Ant Design, and Figma Basic knowledge of operating systems, microprocessors, computer networks, and database systems Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Able to communicate in basic English
