We are a team of IT (Information Technologies) professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of AI and ML allows for real-time data analysis and decision making, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support “Smart Factory” initiative, to make better decision and maximize operational excellence.

About the role - you will:

  • You will work with our Data Scientist and Data Engineers to research and develop smart maintenance platform, powered by machine learning, that can provide the following capabilities:
  • Detection of fault and performance degradation
  • Prediction of Remaining Useful Life (RUL)
  • You will have the chance to drive meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models that help reduce capital spending and operational cost.

About you:

  • We are looking for candidates who are highly passionate about data science and want to apply AI/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-word problems.
  • Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong analytical skills
  • Good at Python programming
  • Familiarity with AI Machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Bachelor or master's students in Computer science, computer engineering or related field

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or other Engineering majors or related field
  • Good knowledge of general IT principles related to configuration changes, testing cycles and deployment strategies
  • Effective project management skills to drive HR and IT related configuration changes, interface changes and HR transformation projects
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office

Location:

Korat, Thailand
Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
