About our group:

Supply Chain Planning is a key function to enabling Seagate’s ability to hit sales and revenue goals while being hyper focus on inventory management. This organization works cross functionally with account management/revenue operations to understand demand and supply planning and operations to understand capability to support. As demand and supply ever changes, we are constantly reworking plans to ensure we meet and exceed financial targets. 

About the role - you will:

  • Be an integral part of the planning team for all three of our businesses (HDD/SSD/CSG/Systems) 
  • Meet with each planning team to understand how each business operates from demand to supply commit as it relates to process, tools, and organizations.   
  • Research best-in-class planning processes and provide comparisons with Seagate process. 
  • Provide recommendation on how we can optimize and standardize where appropriate. 
  • Review SAP capability to see if there are enhancements that enable increase automation and analytic. 
  • Work with cross functional resources across the world.

Your experience includes:

  • Previous business/planning/supply chain preferred 
  • Knowledge of planning tools/systems preferred 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivots, formulas, etc) 
  • Experience with process mapping
  • Current Bachelor's student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study, and returning to classes in Fall 2025

The estimated base wage range for this position is $16 - $24/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
