About our group:

We manage software releases across all products and customers within the Systems Firmware organization. Our team serves as the primary interface between firmware development and the broader Systems product teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of high-quality firmware solutions.

About the role - you will:

  • Collaborate daily with firmware and test engineers to define feature requirements, resolve bugs, and deliver high-quality firmware releases.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and test teams to address technical challenges, align on dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of firmware releases.
  • Interface directly with external customers to gather requirements, provide technical updates, and ensure firmware solutions meet customer expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on software deliverables to firmware leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Engage hands-on with current products and firmware to drive technical excellence and product understanding.
  • Support release planning, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation activities.

About you:

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Hardware, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree, and 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Hardware, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree, and 6+ years of experience, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Hardware, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree, and 3+ years of experience, or Equivalent education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware systems.
  • Hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and coordinating across teams.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., GIT).

 

The estimated base salary range for this position is $105,664.00 - $154,005,28. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
