About our group:

Seagate’s Product Assurance Engineering Team is part of the Seagate Quality function and is responsible for the verification and validation of products in Seagate’s HDD, SSD, and Systems portfolios. The team you will be working most directly with will be focused on the Systems product portfolio, We are a fast-paced, global team with the objective of delivering the world’s most affordable solutions for mass-capacity environments. We foster a strong team environment while recognizing outstanding individual contributions.

About the role - you will:

  • Provide on-site analytical, coordination, and administrative support to product assurance and reliability test engineers.
  • Learn and apply problem solving techniques, data collection, and analysis techniques to investigate, identify potential root cause of problems.
  • Interact and coordinate with other design engineering functions that results in successful delivery of cross-functional solutions.
  • Generate process improvement ideas, including ML and AI applications, and actively participate in design discussions.
  • Perform system level testing, with a focus on drive qualification and long-term reliability, continuously monitoring the product performance and quality.

About you:

  • Interested in System and Storage industry and technology.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable prioritizing and balancing multiple projects and activities concurrently.
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Interested in learning and enhancing your skills in data analysis.

Your experience includes:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, computer science, or equivalent discipline and returning to classes in Fall 2026.
  • Proficient in working in Linux.
  • Have hands-on lab experience or willing to learn.
  • Knowledge of Python and experience or interest in Kubernetes and Docker.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $27.00-29.00/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
