About our group:

 

The EDS Manufacturing Test Process group is a highly motivated team that delivers manufacturing test process support for all EDS products.  Our mission is to provide end to end capability and support to all factories building and supporting EDS products.

 

About the role - you will:

 

  • Provide manufacturing test processes, lead and support to Core-teams.
  • Develop/gather requirements for manufacturing test process.
  • Work with product engineers to develop and document test strategy overview.   
  • Work with product engineer to develop work instructions and document for FA.
  • Work with engineering development teams to ensure delivery of manufacturing code and scripts to factory locations.
  • Work with Core-teams to request necessary equipment/systems to do verification of manufacturing process.
  • Own and run verification process at design center.
  • Work with Factories to coordinate validation at factory locations.

About you:

  • Have a passion and curiosity for cloud systems storage problems and solutions.
  • Are highly motivated and able to independently lead cross functional efforts to achieve manufacturing goals for product delivery.

  • Have cross-functional team experience, including effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are detail oriented and passionate about code quality, testability, and maintainability of the solutions you create.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Direct manufacturing or interaction with manufacturing test process development.
  • Working with cross functional organizations.
  • Experience with project/product management.
  • Experience with being able breakdown issues and provide debugging direction.  
  • Technical experience with programming/scripting in any language is highly beneficial to the success of this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 8+ years of experience or Master’s Degree in the same and 6+ years’ experience or PhD and 3+ years’ experience or equivalent experience and education.

  • Industry awareness of observability and manageability.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred).
  • Python
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Basic Storage Systems knowledge
  • Manufacturing Test experience
  • Project planning/tracking tools (Smartsheet’s, Microsoft projects, other)
  • Jira
  • Experience with FIS (Factory Information Systems)/Seatrack

The estimated base salary range for this position is $102,648.00 - $149,589.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
