Internship - Head Media Electrical Optimization

About our group:

Our group contributes to the head and disk design for making large capacity disk drives with this latest technology – Design verification, failure analysis, problem solving, data analysis and hands on lab measurements. Very fast pace environment with many challenging opportunities.

About the role - you will:

This position is for a summer internship in the advanced recording subsystem of a hard drive.  This position will perform bench level testing of hard disk drives, coding up scripts to test the drives and evaluating the data.

Willing to learn
Work in a self-directed way.

Your experience includes:

Programing in C++ or Python

A bachelor's degree in either Physics or Electrical Engineering, and must be enrolled in Fall 2025 classes.

Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills.
